The Himalayan Lodge Short Term Vacation Rental is in a great location in the Old West Side neighborhood, west of Main Street and Downtown Ann Arbor.  Each of two guest rooms has a king bed [or two twin beds].  There is a toddler bed in one room, a bunkbed in the office room, an extra twin cot, a pack-n-play and a highchair can be available.  There are also plenty of toys, books, games, DVDs and puzzles to keep kids of all ages entertained.  The house has two full bathrooms, a kitchen, dining room, living room, washer and dryer, limited cable TV and free wireless internet.

Rooms
Royal Nepal Room   bedroom

This spacious guestroom sleeps two in either a king bed or two twin beds.  There is also a toddler bed here.  Three large windows offer views toward Washington Street and the neighbor's organic garden in back.  The south facing windows offer plenty of sunlight.  Prayer flags on the ceiling ensure good karma and a good night's sleep.  The bathroom near this room is equipped with an upright shower.

Good Karma Room  bedroom

This room sleeps two in either a king bed or two twin beds.  Windows on the north and east sides of the house look out onto a natural garden area.  The attached bathroom has a large sink and the years-old (more recently refinished) clawfoot tub with shower.  This room, my personal favorite,  is part of the original house built in the 1870s.

Laxmi Room  office room

This sturdy, heavy bunk bed was salvaged from a University of Michigan dorm room in the early 1970s.  The mattresses are new!  Top bunk requires a Himalayan climb. There is a guard rail for the top bunk.
