Location

The Himalayan Lodge is located in the historic Old West Side neighborhood, just west of downtown Ann Arbor.  The Lodge is a 10 minute walk to Ann Arbor's vibrant Main Street.  Kerrytown Market and Shops is a 15 minute walk.  The University of Michigan's central campus is about a mile from the Lodge.  You will enjoy this quiet neighborhood near the center of town.  The Huron River is also nearby and is a great place to hike and kayak.  All Ann Arbor has to offer is within easy access.

 

Restaurants, shops, walking, hiking, swimming, basketball court, movie theaters, cycling, hospital, museums, playgrounds, party store/groceries, antiquing, theaters, scenic drives, libraries, nature areas, night clubs, University of Michigan sports - are all nearby.

The Himalayan Lodge is a ten minute walk from the shop Heather founded in her garage, The Himalayan Bazaar (218 S. Main St) where you'll find a variety of fair trade imports from Nepal and the Himalayas.  Heather also leads guided tours to Nepal, trekking in the Himalayas to Mt.
